Mercedes-Benz Australia has updated its GL-Class SUV range for 2015,
bringing a revised model line-up, new pricing and additional features.
4500 added to its price tag and a new model joins the range. Power for
GL 350 models still comes from a 3.0 litre six-cylinder turbo-diesel
engine producing 190kW and 620Nm, while the petrol-powered GL 500 gets
a 320kW/700Nm 4.7 litre V8. The AMG model is powered by a 5.5 litre
petrol V8 making 410kW and 760Nm. All models feature all-wheel-drive
and a seven-speed automatic transmission. GL 350 Edition S models add
21-inch wheels, Benz鈥檚 Active Curve System and a performance brake
package, along with AMG Sport body kit options. The GL 500 Edition S
also gets AMG Sport options and 21-inch wheels along with a digital TV,
heated and cooled cup-holders and a panoramic sunroof. 5000 option) and
heated and cooled front seats. The 2015 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class is

Cars are the passion for most of the men and their love for cars is
quite old from history. Today鈥檚 modern cars aren鈥檛 as strong and
robust as those from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s; some of them still
justify to be considered tough. Furthermore, since they don鈥檛
actually have too much of a game, they can as well be rated the
toughest production vehicles in the world. After all, they only race
against one another here. Just to clarify once more: only currently
produced cars will be acknowledged, so please don鈥檛 ask anything
like: 鈥榃hy鈥檚 there no XJ Jeeps, FJ Cruiser, Nissan Xterra, Landy
Defender, Hummer H1, or similar vehicles. Examples are simple, really.
Apart from the fact that proposed wheels has to be in production for
2016 model year, it also demands to be able to take plenty of abuse.
Ford F-150 lineup is as strong as the Rams, but Raptor versions of the
full-size truck are something unique. Raptor is so special that we have
chosen to include it even though it鈥檚 currently unavailable.

2006 numbers for the first time since Wall Street pulled off the
biggest pyramid scheme in history. One of the biggest beneficiaries of
this return to bubble-inducing growth spurts? The SUV. But what if you
want to sell SUVs to people who might want SUVs but don鈥檛 really want
SUVs that look like SUVs? You build SUV-like objects in as many flavors
as possible. Objects like the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, a swollen,
bulbous appendage to the Mercedes lineup, built off the new E-sized
range (until recently known as the ML-Class) but with swoopier lines
and cartoon-huge wheels. I recently spent a day wheeling the GLE450 AMG
Sport version on and around the famed 11-mile, 300-plus-turn Tail of
the Dragon. While I can鈥檛 in good conscience say I loved it, I can
see why people would. The GLE is, after all, a new-generation
Mercedes-Benz, which means it can practically drive itself in some
situations. As a mode of transport for four people, the GLE450 works
just fine.

the same cannot be said for Mercedes-Benz鈥檚 foray into
front-wheel-drive-based compacts. Mercedes has long attempted a viable
mainstream, entry-premium urban vehicle lineup capable of drawing in
youthful consumers. That鈥檚 why it once owned Chrysler. Now it鈥檚 the
GLA-Class, CLA-Class, and B250e in the U.S., plus the A-Class and
CLA-Class Shooting Brake elsewhere. Though they lack the substance and
sumptuous luxury of traditional, rear-wheel-drive-based Mercedes, they
have a future tackling emissions regulations, urban driving
restrictions and ride-sharing programs. The Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class
leads the U.S. It receives a facelift for the coming model year. The
2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class gets cleaner-looking, redesigned front and
rear bumpers, new 18- and 19-inch wheel designs, and LED headlamps
replacing Bi-Xenons. There鈥檚 also a rather tasty new Canyon Beige
paint color option. An eight-inch high-resolution center-dash display
and a rearview camera now are standard, and handsfree access is added
to the Premium Package.
