Control Module
If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles that the front passenger seat belt reminder reacts too sensitively or without obvious
cause or that a warning is shown in SRS and fault code 9A14 is stored in the WSS control module, the "initial start-up / recalibration" of the control
module must be performed again to resolve. Do not replace the weight sensing system (WSS) control module.
Fault code 9A14 ("Component WSS is incorrectly adjusted") is set after every accident or when the "initial start-up / recalibration" test routine is not
completed properly. After "initial start-up / recalibration", fault code 9A14 is automatically erased.
Note:
The seat adjustment must not be under stress or impeded by foreign objects in its adjustment range.
Note:
The following allowable labor operations should be used when submitting a warranty claim for this repair. This information has been generated
on January 9, 2009. Please refer to Netstar --> Star TekInfo --> Star Time for the most current labor time allowance.
In Case of Warranty, use the table above.
