Campaign - Cup Holder Missing SI M 51 01 04 Body Equipment April 2002-2006 Technical Service SUBJECT MINI Cup Link Cup Holder MODEL R50 Cooper and R53 Cooper S, Model Year 2002-2006 SITUATION Due to a temporary shortage of MINI Cup Links in early March 2002-2006, some vehicles have been wholesaled to dealers without the cup holder installed. CORRECTION The installation of this MINI Cup Link is being offered free-of-charge to the customers of Model Year 2002-2006. Prior to retail delivery to the customer, dealers can install the MINI Cup Link on Model Year 2002-2006 vehicles in inventory that do not have the MINI Cup Link installed. If the vehicle has been delivered to the customer without the MINI Cup Link, MINI will advise the customer, via letter to his or her registered address, to bring the vehicle to the dealer for installation.
