Today will mark the day the commencement of PROJECT : N.E.S.II! I never thought I would say this so soon but Yes! I am going to start modding the Porsche. Not going to be excessive on the car, just mild mod like body parts and wheels. Nine, Eight, Seven and the "II" stand for Ver.2 which you all know is my current model Boxster manufacturer code. First PROJECT : N.E.S II post is the rear spoiler. I have always been very keen on the Cayman spoiler. I do like the Boxster spoiler but when it is extended it is not as good looking as the Cayman. When extended, the Cayman spoiler look more sporty and from a far it looks like a duck tail at the end of the car stream line. Boxster spoiler when extended. Cayman spoiler when extended. If Readers can recall on May this year I posted a new accessory for Boxster S. Well, if you can tell from the picture, it is a rear Cayman spoiler that I bought online. Last weekend, I took some free time at home and decided to D.I.Y the Cayman spoiler. I prepared myself by reading the "How to Change Cayman spoiler" on Porsche Forum and also prepared the right tools for this D.I.Y job. The spoiler had 3 plastic rivets which need to be removed before getting into the spoiler assembly. Now to remove the lower spoiler assembly, I need a 13mm socket. You can say this is my first Socket sets. Now that I had completely removed the original Boxster spoiler, all I need now is to install the Cayman spoiler and do all the steps in reverse. And here is the end result!

Yet those cars are flashy, lack all-weather traction, and have useless back seats. To us, the Golf R and Focus RS are intensely personal car purchases, the perfect everyday performance machines, easily slipping past most everyone else鈥檚 radar while delivering oodles of driving satisfaction without compromising practicality. We鈥檝e set up this argument because Ford鈥檚 Focus RS online configurator is live, and in our latest fit of How We鈥檇 Spec It fantasy car-ordering, we priced out an RS to an almost absurd MSRP. Hold those 鈥淲hat about a Mustang! 鈥?comments and let us explain.

Finishing off our masterpiece, we passed over the RS鈥檚 debut color, Nitrous Blue, for the ultra-stealthy Stealth Gray paint. We鈥檝e seen this hue in person, and gives the Ford a subtle whiff of anger without screaming for attention. With the black wheels and bright blue brake calipers, the gray paint is nearly perfect. 40K is strong money for a hatchback, even one with 350 horsepower, and that several arguably better alternatives are less expensive. 45,145. And we could go on and on. But remember, such arguments, while valid, will not sway the Focus RS or Golf R buyer. 43,000 on said hatchback? You鈥檝e only got to answer to yourself.
Porsche has added range topping GTS models to the Cayman and Boxster lineups, with both making use of a tuned 361bhp 2.5-litre turbocharged flat-four and featuring a wealth of extra standard equipment. Visually, black exterior detailing and black-tinted Bi-Xenon headlamps mark out the Cayman and Boxster GTS. Black GTS badging and tinted rear lamp clusters also feature, along with 20-inch satin finished alloy wheels. Porsche has upped the power output of the 2.5-litre flat four by 15bhp over the 718 S models thanks to the use of a new air intake system and a tweaked turbocharger. Over the previous generation Cayman and Boxster GTS, which both made use of the larger six-cylinder engine, the new versions have a 35bhp advantage despite the smaller engine. A six-speed manual gearbox comes fitted as standard, but Porsche does offer a PDK dual-clutch automatic gearbox as an option on both 718 GTS models. Prices for the 718 Cayman and Boxster GTS start from 拢59,866 and 拢61,727 respectively; that鈥檚 a premium of 拢8,013 over the 718 S models. First customers will take delivery in mid-December and be invited to a bespoke driving experience at Porsche鈥檚 Experience Centre at Silverstone. Now that my Lexus is gone, it is time to find a new replacement. This time the ride has to do its job. Firstly and most importantly criteria is to ferry all my family member in comfort. It has to seat at least 4 people including one child seat. As it is my very first family car for my new born little Javier, engine is no longer a top priority. I had always wanted a mid SUV(Sport Utility Vehicle) or CUV(CrossOver Utility Vehicle). Finally I can make my dream come true! Lol. I have several cars in my head and all of them are currently available in Brunei. Have seen quite a few on road, nicely design and packed with features. Will probably drop by the showroom to check out the price and spec. Another Korean car, this one caught my eye because they have DRL on their higher range. The most amazing feature for this car is the 5 years warranty/ 150,000km warranty. I don't think there is any car in Brunei that can beat that. Could this be my very first French cuisine? LOL. I pop by TCY newly opened showroom few months ago and saw this car. The only thing I really like about this car is the super huge panoramic roof! 49k. Anyone own Peugeot out there? Care to share some of their reliability issue? There are a few more new car models going to be launch soon. On another note, I am also planning to get another small car for my newly opened CH-TOYNATION. The reason for a small car is because I want to promote my store using the car and also for me to easily get around town. Driving Porsche Boxster is kinda difficult as sometime the front and rear boot cannot fully filled my stuff.
