If closed and openly properly, the mechanism is nearly impossible to jam. Notify the customer of the proper way to open the fuel filter door by showing them the cross-hatched press area in Figure 1 that corresponds with the locking mechanism on the inside (1). If the Push System is damaged, replace it separately. Remove and install the tank recess as outlined in WIS document: AR88.60-P-2000CW (204.0) or AR88.60-P-2000EW (207, 212, 218.3).
