Recall - Replace A-Pillar Trim FILE: SERVICE: GROUP 00 OF SERVICE INFORMATION BINDER PARTS: GROUP I OF INFORMATION - PARTS & ACCESSORIES BINDER Campaign No. 2011010001, March 2011 TO: ALL MERCEDES-BENZ CENTERS SUBJECT: Model 906, Model Year 2010 Replace A-Pillar Trim Daimler AG (DAG), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz and Freightliner Sprinter vehicles, has determined that due to documentation error the A-Pillar Trim installed in the vehicle may not be the correct one required for compliance with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 201 2010 Mercedes Benz Truck Sprinter 2500 Crew (906.733) V6-3.0L DSL Turbo (642.898) Page 136 (Head Impact Protection). Dealers will replace the A-Pillar Trim to insure compliance with FMVSS 201.
