The upcoming 2022 Nissan Titan will get a redesign. This half-ton pickup truck has been spied on recently. The prototype shows numerous changes, despite heavy camouflage. Interestingly, Titan will be mostly changed inside the cabin. Thanks to that, Nissan will add more standard features, a new touchscreen, and much more.
The comfort is better than ever before which means Titan will wear more upright materials. Under the bonnet, this pickup truck will deploy the same V8 powertrain. Overall, Titan is a good-looking model with a pleasant ride and nice interior design. The performances are great and the sales will begin in the second half of next year.
The all-new 2022 Nissan Titan will deploy the same “Powerful Warrior” design language. This model looks distinctive but the latest upgrades will provide an even better appearance. The base SL trim will get a small number of chrome accents, mostly upfront. The optional 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels are optional, along with new side steps. However, trim levels such as Platinum Reserve are the best possible options. This particular trim comes with a satin chrome grille and the tailgate that also wears satin.
Moreover, power-operated features are offered as standard and the overall appearance is more stylish. If you want something wilder, Titan Pro-4X is the answer. It is an off-road-oriented model that comes with blacked-out exterior features, red tow hooks, and red Nissan lettering. Lastly, we like the impressive color palette. The 2022 Titan will offer exterior paints such as Super Black, Cardinal Red Metallic, Deep Blue Pearl, and Red Alert.
As we said, most of the upgrades will happen inside the cabin. The 2022 Nissan Titan will look better than ever before. Nissan said the new model will provide better comfort and more high-tech features. This means we should expect new and more upright materials. Moreover, the highlight will be a new 9-inch infotainment touchscreen.
The “Zero Gravity” seats are available, along with Nissan Safety Shield 360. It is a safety suite that offers the newest driver-assistance features. We expect to see even more upgrades but we are waiting for the Japanese manufacturer to unveil them.
Unlike its biggest rivals, the new 2022 Nissan Titan offers a single powertrain option. It is a 5.6-liter V8 that generates up to 400 horsepower. On top of that, the potent V8 is capable of producing almost 415 lb-ft of torque. The engine acts smoothly and it comes with an impressive nine-speed automatic transmission.
Furthermore, the front-wheel-drive system is standard, while the 4×4 setup is optional once again. The fuel economy is rated at 16 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway. New 2022 Titan can tow up to 9,500 pounds, which is a small improvement over the outgoing model.
From what we know, this half-ton pickup truck will hit the dealerships in the second half of 2021. The price of the 2022 Nissan Titan starts at around $37,000. On the other hand, models such as King Cab Pro-4x will cost around $50,000.
