Anderungsgrund
Beanstandung:
Possible external coolant loss and/or oil loss between turbocharger and carrier (support). The display "Coolant Service Required" may appear in the
instrument cluster.
Ursache:
The right-hand connecting bolt between the turbocharger and the carrier (oil supply connection fitting) may be loose or cracked.
Abhilfe:
1. Replace turbocharger carrier (oil supply connection fitting), seal and 2 bolts between turbocharger and carrier.
Note
^ Torque specification for bolts between turbocharger and carrier: 20 Nm (1st stage), 60 ° (2nd stage)
^ Do not replace the turbocharger!
^ Replace other seals and bolts on the carrier and turbocharger according to the WIS documentation!
2. Perform oil change.
