Cause: During the closing sequence the liftgate collides with the obstruction sensor strip, which triggers the anti-pinch protection function. Remedy: Adjust the liftgate by adjusting the striker. The gap between the liftgate and the side wall should measure approx. 6.5 mm (see Figure 1).
