Chris Harris will be more than happy to find a winner. Every year Top Gear has its Speed Week competition, with the goal of determining the Performance Car of the Year. It’s a hard job and all, but Chris Harris is more than up for the task. We all wish we could join him. Let’s just say that 2017 was an absolutely brilliant year for performance car reveals, putting it mildly. Why’s that? Here’s your answer: Ford GT, Lamborghini Huracan Performante, McLaren 720S, and a new Porsche 911 GT3 and its most serious rival ever, the Mercedes-AMG GT R. Oh, and let’s not forget the less expensive, but certainly no lightweight Honda Civic Type R.
