Opel is marking its ownership switch from General Motors to PSA Group with a new design language it calls "pure and bold."
The automaker is previewing the styling on the GT X Experimental concept for a full-electric crossover.
Opel designers have reduced the traditional "cut lines" in the concept's bodywork to the minimum to give the concept a clean, high-tech appearance. It has a new grille design that Opel calls Vizor because it resembles the eye slot of a motorbike helmet.
The concept previews the appearance of Opel vehicles coming in the mid-2020s with a bold, pure look, the automaker said in a statement.
