Twin-Rollerblind Malfunction
Cause:
Broken attachment pin/bushing due to excessive stress
Remedy:
Removal of left/right bushing assembly
1. Place the roller blind on a bench as shown in the picture.
2. Use a screwdriver to press down the plastic lug of the bushing. The leather must not be damaged or stretched.
3. Pull the bushing out of the tube with your hand. If the bushing gets stuck, gently tap the end of the bushing using a hammer.
4. Remove the bushing from the tube.
Check the position of the metal catch and correct it if necessary
5. If the plastic lug of the bushing has broken off, the broken piece must be removed from the tube.
6. The protrusion of the metal catch in the tube must be checked using a vernier caliper (do not measure the leather at the same time).
7. Press the metal catch into the correct position using a screwdriver if necessary.
Installation of new left/right bushing assembly
8. Position the new bushing and push it into the tube with your hand.
9. The leather must be pushed under the bushing at the top and bottom. Creases in the leather are not permissible.
10. If the bushing gets stuck, gently tap the end of the bushing using a hammer.
11. Check by hand that the bushing is correctly engaged.
