This can lead to contamination of the air conditioning service unit and damage the vehicles refrigerant circuit. The damaged part must always be determined using the usual inspection procedures and replaced by a genuine Mercedes-Benz new part. Returned components that have been contaminated, damaged or clogged by sealant will not be covered under warranty. NOTE: If sealant is in the refrigerant circuit of the air conditioning system, this cannot be determined before the refrigerant is extracted.
