Radiator Accident Repairs
Cooling Module Components
If a radiator remains functional and airtight it is not necessary to replace it for:
^ Radiator fin marks*, or
^ Bottom left and right broken radiator mounting brackets.
* Fin marks must not have any effect on or compromise radiator function. Therefore, in addition to visual inspection, the radiator cooling
performance must be assessed.
In the event of a broken off or damaged radiator mounting bracket at the bottom, the retaining clamp A 204 504 05 14, can be used to repair the
radiator.
The repair can be conducted on radiators with the following part numbers:
