SUBJECT

Central Power Window Switch Operation

MODEL

E93

SITUATION

When pressing the central power window switch, not all windows will respond. This can occur if the window switch is pressed again shortly after the

window has reached its stop. A typical situation would be if the operator opens and closes the window quickly to clear the window of fog, dew, rain

or frost. This usually affects one of the rear windows.

CAUSE

A short time delay (2-4 seconds) is built in to protect certain window components. This is inherent in the design, and therefore no repairs or parts are

required.

CORRECTION

Explain the benefits of this function, and then advise the customer of the delay needed between window operations.
