Many people ask me what will be new for upcoming Toyota model years. It makes complete sense that Toyota fans and owners want to know about new features, minor refreshes and redesigns.
And I take a lot of pride in knowing details. With my “ToyotaJeff Reviews” and “AutoJeff Reviews” YouTube channels, I have worked hard to position myself as a resource in the automotive world.
However, sometimes, information is challenging to come by. Toyota is notorious for keeping specifications private until the time is right to release to the public.
In the case of 2022 Sienna, there is not much, but there is a little bit of information to share.
2022 Toyota Sienna News
Since Toyota Sienna was completely redesigned for 2021, we can expect there will not be many updates. Not necessary.
Sienna Woodland Edition - Cement color
We do have an intriguing new 2022 Sienna trim level – Toyota Sienna Woodland Edition. This versatile Sienna grade is ideal for road trippers, weekend campers, and outdoor enthusiasts in general.
Sienna Woodland will be offered in both Cement and Midnight Black Metallic colors.
Another color scheme change may interest potential buyers. A brighter color switch is in store for 2022 Toyota Sienna.
Blizzard Pearl will be replaced by Wind Chill Pearl for new Toyota Sienna models.
Toyota Camry XSE - Wind Chill Pearl color
Wind Chill Pearl is a whiter, brighter hue than Blizzard Pearl and it really sparkles in direct sunlight.
Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition - Wind Chill Pearl color
You can find Wind Chill Pearl on popular Toyota models like Camry, Tacoma and Tundra.
2022 Toyota Sienna Release Date
Due to ongoing vehicle shortage concerns, it is difficult to pinpoint exactly when 2022 Sienna will be available.
However, I would expect to see new Sienna minivans at dealerships in the September-October time frame.
2022 Toyota Sienna Colors
Buyers will have many different colors to choose from in 2022. Some are traditional while some are bold and vibrant.
Look for Super White, Predawn Gray Mica, Celestial Silver Metallic, Midnight Black Metallic, Blueprint, Sunset Bronze Mica, Ruby Flare Pearl, Cypress Green Metallic and Wind Chill Pearl.
Toyota Sienna MPG and AWD
People who enjoy incredible fuel economy will appreciate Sienna Hybrid. This is rated at either 35mpg or 36mpg depending on whether you get all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive.
