Battery - Battery Charging Information
Date: July 3, 2012
Order No.: S-B-54. 10/255
Group: 54
SUBJECT:
MY-All, All Models Charge Battery
Correct charging of the on-board electrical system battery, starter battery, and buffer battery helps to ensure that the vehicle continues to start,
functions properly, and has optimal battery life. Therefore please remember that all batteries >/= 12 Ah must be charged in the way described in
AR54.10-P-1130CW.
The battery charging period depends on the charge level of the battery.
The battery must be charged using an approved charger (see SSEP catalogue located under "MB Equipment" menu of STAR TekInfo).
The battery is sufficiently charged when the charging current reading is < 25 A.  Mercedes Benz S 550 4MATIC  Technical Problem #LI82-10_P-0534392 Date:

2010 Mercedes Benz S 550 4MATIC (221.186) V8-5.5L (273.968)    Page 38
Cause:
In isolated circumstances, it can happen that the multifunction camera fails to log into the data bus CAN in the temperature ranges (23 \A1\E3F to + 41 \A1\E3F
and 68 \A1\E3F to 86 \A1\E3F). A fault code entry is not made. Following a renewed ignition sequence and a change in component temperature, the system is
operational again.
Remedy:
Replace MFK and calibrate with the aid of the "calibration target for Night View Assist" special tool (W 000 589 01 20 00).
