With this tool kit, the anchoring of the lever arm (Circle, Figure 1) is achieved using the existing threaded holes in the cylinder head. On engines with hydraulic lifters, the valve keepers can be removed and installed by pressing down on the valve spring with the mounting element. The mounting element will also work with angled valves, as in V8 and V12 engines, and in the confined space of the engine compartment.
