Text Certain 2022 GMC Sierra HD models will have restricted availability of the Heated Second Row Outboard Seats feature, GM Authority has learned. The limited availability of the feature stems from the ongoing global microchip shortage. The Heated Second Row Outboard Seats feature for the 2022 GMC Sierra HD is tagged with RPO code KA6, and is offered as part of the SLT Convenience Package (RPO code PCY) for Sierra HD SLT Crew Cab models. Heated Second Row Outboard Seats are also standard on GMC Sierra HD AT4 and Denali trim levels, both Crew Cab be default. However, as a result of the global microchip shortage, some units of the 2022 GMC Sierra HD normally equipped with Heated Second Row Outboard Seats will not come with the feature. Affected units are those produced after July 26th.
