GUIDED DIAGNOSIS IN DAS FOR FAULT CODES CONCERNING COMBUSTION MISFIRING
COMPLAINT
Fault codes for combustion misfiring are current or stored in the engine control unit
(see fault code overview). In addition, vehicles might have "crank no start" situation.
CAUSE
On MY 2010 and or MY2011 vehicles with 272 or 273 engines the cause might be shorted
ignition coil due to a micro fracture in the coil's capacitor. The affected coils might
be in the production range with the date codes between 10T103 and 10T197.
In addition, vehicles might have blown fuse 23 in the front SAM.
