In all honesty, the ML is a rather ugly thing, particularly in front.
We're partial to the five-spoke, 20-inch AMG alloy wheels wrapped in
Pirelli Ice & Snow 295/40-series rubber. Even more than the large
wheels and wider fender flares, the giant exhaust tips look fantastic,
giving the ML63 a sense of performance presence from the back end, and
the sound emanating from them is pure big-bore bliss. Overall, the
M-Class design is simply growing a bit long in the tooth - a problem
that will no doubt be fixed when the next-generation ML shows its face
in the next year or so. We've seen plenty of spy shots of the new M out
testing, and even when covered in camouflage, it's obvious that the
subtle styling tweaks Mercedes has planned should do wonders for the
exterior. The awkwardly shaped headlamps get a much-needed smoothing,
and the taillamps grow in size, expanding onto the rear hatch. We
anticipate good things, especially when the AMG team gets its hands on
the refreshed 'ute.

Mercedes-Benz GLS350d wheel bolt pattern. You likely know that most
rims are none car specific. In other words, we can change them from
GLS350d to another car and vice versa. But not all rims are a bolt-on
fitment for your GLS350d studs. If you want to be sure about fitment,
consider a number of important factors. The most significant thing that
you should do is compare your GLS350d bolt pattern with the one on the
wheel that you want to buy. Sometimes, you may have to know the stud or
bolt pattern information to come up with the best solution. Select the
make, model, and the year of your vehicle to get the information about
the bolt pattern. Wheel bolt is the diameter of an imaginary circle
that the centers of the wheel lugs or bolt holes form. Sometimes,
you'll find people referring to it as bolt circle, lug pattern, or lug
circle. There are a few other names as well though. Remember that a
wheel bolt of 5 by 4.5 refers to a 5 bolt pattern with a diameter of
4.5 inches.

Forget the minivan. The SUV is America's family car. Everyone gets
it--even the German car companies more famous for their super sedans
and high-end sports cars. The newest, most luxurious SUV Germany has to
offer is the 2013 Mercedes Benz GL Class. The GL wears a Benz badge--a
big one at that--but it's called Tuscaloosa, Alabama, its home since it
was new in the 2007 model year. 88,000, before you pile on the choicest
options. It's an ultimate luxury SUV, but the GL doesn't go down the
blingy trendy trail carved by those other sport-utes. The GL isn't
quite as angular as it was last year, but it's still a little more
traditional and subdued than its competition. The front end's more
pronounced, and the rear fenders taper upward a bit--but it's still a
very familiar, rugged look. Inside, the GL takes another step up the
luxury ladder. It doesn't look so different but some of the features
are, like a larger seven-inch screen on the dash for infotainment, and
the knob controller on its console that runs them through an operating
system called COMAND. Wood trim and leather upholstery give the cabin a
warm, rich feel.

The 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class "is not a poser. This is a real SUV."
Thomas Weber, Benz's head of Group Research and Mercedes-Benz Cars
Development, made that very clear while speaking to journalists
sampling the new GLA in southern Spain. It's a bold statement
considering the GLA will share showroom space with the iconic G-Class,
which solidified its reputation as a legit off-roader long before
becoming a Beverly Hills staple. So what makes for a real SUV, anyway?
According to Weber, a real SUV combines style, a higher seating
position, more space to haul stuff, and off-road capability. The GLA
checks all those boxes, especially when compared to its platform-mate
the Mercedes-Benz CLA four-door sedan. The CLA was America's first
taste of Benz's new front-wheel-drive platform, and the automaker has
been very happy with the CLA's sales performance since it first rolled
into dealership last September. That said, Benz's bean counters must
get dizzy with visions of dollar signs when thinking about the GLA,
because as much as Americans love the CLA, they're expected to love the
crossover version even more.

Consider the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLA-class a hot hatch for
401k-contributing adults: It's kind of a crossover and kind of a
performance hatchback. Underneath its ruggedly styled sheetmetal it's
basically a CLA-class sedan. Its performance-oriented driving
characteristics remind us more of a hot hatchback than anything else,
and enthusiast drivers should take note. The GLA's cabin is short on
space for people and cargo, but it offers high-tech options such as
Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and 4G LTE connectivity with onboard
Wi-Fi. Buyers seeking traditional crossover practicality and roominess
would be wise to shop the BMW X1 and the Lexus NX, but the GLA-class is
far more entertaining to drive. What's New for 2019? Mercedes-Benz's
smallest crossover holds steady for 2019 with only one change: A new
Iridium Silver paint color joins the options list. Mercedes has been
busy revamping its small car lineup in the form of the all-new A-class
and CLA-class sedans, so an all-new GLA-class can't be far behind. For
options, we'd choose the panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, and the
blind-spot monitoring system.
