It’s that time of year again. Yes, it’s Black Friday, which means dealers are offering crazy discounts to entice new car buyers. While there are some misleading deals you need to be aware of, there are also some significant savings on lease deals, 0% financing and Supplier Pricing from leading manufacturers available for a limited time only.
CarsDirect has rounded up some of the best Black Friday deals on cars, trucks, and SUVs you can take advantage of right now. You can find a complete list of automaker Black Friday discounts here.
Ford Black Friday DealsFirst up, Ford is offering a handful of Black Friday deals, but be aware that they vary heavily by region. In California, for example, lease discounts on the 2018 Ford Escape surged to $6,025 on November 21 (previously $3,500). You can now lease an Escape SE from $199 for 36 months with just $999 at signing. It was previously available to lease from $239 with $2,919 at signing, so this is a substantial saving.
Discounts on the 2018 Ford Fusion have also increased to $6,850 with a Sign & Drive lease. The SE trim is now listed at $199 with $0 due at signing. Previously, it was listed at $209 with $2,709 at signing. If you’re looking to buy a midsize car, this is a great deal.
In Phoenix, buyers can take advantage of a $1,000 trade-in assistance bonus between November 21 and December 2. Vehicles included in this deal are the 2018 Expedition and F-150, including the diesel variant. Some versions of the F-150 now feature 0% APR for 60 months plus up to $5,000 in offers. Seattle shoppers can also get a $1,500 trade-in bonus on the 2018 EcoSport, Escape SE AWD only, Edge, Expedition and F-150.
Honda Black Friday DealsHonda has cut lease prices on the 2018 CR-V LX this month by $30/month. Previously, this would have cost $259 per month, but now you only pay $229 for 36 months with $1,999 due at signing. Effectively, then, this equates to $285 per month, which is over $30 cheaper than an Accord LX at $316.
Honda is also giving dealers an unadvertised cash incentive worth $1,000 to lower prices on all CR-Vs. This is a rare opportunity, since Honda almost never offers holiday incentives, though you'll need to find a dealer willing to pass along the full amount. Confusingly, the best lease rates and finance offers are still on the entry-level LX, with APR as low as 1.9% for 36 months (2.9% for 60).
From November 23, Honda will offer 1.99% financing for 36 months on most certified pre-owned 2013-2018 Accords. The rate rises to 2.99% for 60 months and 3.99% for 72.
GM Black Friday DealsIf you’re looking to buy a Chevrolet, most models now feature 0% APR for 36 months as part of a broad-ranging deal that even includes 2019 models. Everything from the Cruze to the Corvette is eligible.
Even better, models like the 2018 Trax, Volt, Tahoe, Suburban and 2019 Equinox are eligible for 0% APR for 72 months. The catch, however, is that you can't combine the rate with other offers. If you’re buying a 2019 Equinox LT, you may be better off taking this month's 16% discount, worth $4,800 off MSRP.
2018 Enclaves are also eligible for GM Supplier Pricing starting November 5. In California, you can combine that with up to $2,750 in discounts when financing through GM Financial. In total, you’re getting up to $5,509 off MSRP for a well-equipped Avenir trim. Not bad at all.
Chrysler Black Friday DealsFiat Chrysler is offering $500 to $1,000 in Black Friday Bonus Cash on selected vehicles. Both 2018 and 2019 models are eligible unless noted, and deals can be combined with other discounts. Chrysler, for example, is offering an extra $500 off most Pacificas, meaning you can save up to $3,500 off the 2018 Pacifica Touring. Dodge is offering an extra $500 off the Charger and Challenger, so you can now save up to $2,750 off a 2018 Charger SXT. Ram is also offering $1,000 off Ram 1500, which means you can save up to $4,000 off the redesigned Ram 1500 Laramie.
Arguably one of the best Black Friday deals on this list comes from Jeep. For Black Friday, the automaker is offering an extra $500 discount off the Grand Cherokee, 2018 Compass, and 2019 Cherokee. In total, this means you can save up to $5,500 off the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, which is one of the best Black Friday deals you’ll find for an SUV.
Hyundai Black Friday DealsIf you’ve been considering buying a 2018 Hyundai Elantra or Sonata, both these models have been given a $1,000 Black Friday Bonus discount. Be aware, though, that existing offers on the Elantra vary by trim, ranging from $2,500 off the SE to as much as $3,000 on the Eco and Limited. The Black Friday Bonus also requires financing at non-promotional rates. So instead of taking 0% APR, you'll be able to combine up to $3,000 in cash plus the $1,000 bonus for $4,000 in potential savings.
In fact, Hyundai is offering much better regional deals on selected models. The automaker is offering an extra $1,000 off all Sonatas in the Eastern region, while customers in the Southern Region can enjoy an extra $500 off the 2019 Elantra and Sonata. Buyers in the Western Region, on the other hand, can take advantage of a $1,000 lease bonus on the 2018 Santa Fe Sport and a $1,000 bonus on 2018 Sonata (CA only).
Toyota Black Friday DealsToyota Black Friday deals vary by region. In the Boston area, for examples, discounts for leasing the 2018 RAV4 have increased 17% and now stand at $2,400. This offer ends November 26. In Chicago, Toyota is offering a $500 bonus on the 2018 RAV4 and Highlander. In the case of the RAV4, you’ll be able to save up to $3,500. The deal is valid from November 16-26.
In the Southeast, you can get a $1,000 holiday bonus when financing or leasing the RAV4. Alternatively, you can save an extra $500 off the 2019 Corolla, Camry and Highlander plus 0% APR for up to 36 months through January 2. If you’re looking for a luxury model, Lexus is offering up to $8,000 off select models as part of its annual December To Remember sales event.
