Complaint:
Corrosion of threaded connection between stainless steel underride guard and front and/or rear bumper (see Figure 1).
Attachments
Cause:
Corrosion due to inadequate bolt quality.
Remedy:
Thoroughly clean underride guard with suitable polish; replace bolts
Important:
Use plastic washers otherwise the chrome plating will be damaged when the bolts are tightened. Do not use wax!
