Enter the new Citroën C5 X, the brand’s new halo vehicle.  While it may look like your average station wagon at first glance, the Citroën design team has blended the design of their flagship C5 sedan, with the utility of a station wagon, while throwing SUV elements into the mix. Sure it looks like a sedan from the front, its long roofline from its side profile says it’s a functional wagon, while the additional ride height gives the stance of a modern-day crossover. Text Citroen will expand its model line-up next year with the C5 X, it’s new flagship car that has a greater focus on comfort and luxury. The new model, which combines the attributes of large saloon, estate and SUV, is expected to cost from £27,000 when it goes on sale next year. Sharing a platform with the existing C5 Aircross, the new C5 X uses an extended wheelbase to improve passenger space, while the 545-litre boot offers the practicality of a traditional estate car.
