When installing the bleed hose on the fuel tank filler neck maintain a distance of 5mm (Figure 1) (c) from the switch over value; otherwise, damage
or leaking can result.
If the vehicle came with a complaint of ECL and DTC fault codes for purge control system leak in the EVAP the nipple at the switchover vent valve
must be carefully inspected for cracks before repositioning the hose If a crack is found, the filler assembly must be replaced.
