4. Verify the scan tool Lumbar Sensor parameter is less than 1.0 V.



瀚慖f greater than the specified range, test the signal circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the MSM.



5. Install a 3 A fused jumper wire between the signal circuit terminal E and the appropriate 5 V reference circuit terminal listed below. Verify



the scan tool Lumbar Sensor parameter is greater than 4.75 V.



* Terminal D (LHD)



* Terminal C (RHD)

6. If all circuits test normal, test or replace the lumbar position sensor.
