No need for any confusion, the 911 Turbo Cabriolet is simply the topless version of the 911 Turbo. And like its coupe sibling, it comes with a standard six-speed manual transmission and an optional seven-speed "doppelkupplungsgetriebe? (PDK) dual-clutch transmission. With the use of the launch control mode, the Turbo Cabriolet will go from zero to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds (it's slightly slower than the coupe due to a loss of structural integrity, but really, who cares?!).
Don't expect a machine with decades worth of engineering perfection at work to come cheap. The Cabriolet has an even higher base price than the coupe, as it starts at around $145,000. Porsche continues its pursuit of sports car perfection this year by adding an optional Ceramic Composite Brake system with increased stopping power.
