Porsche Centre Dublin

Data determined in accordance with the measurement method required by law. Since September 01, 2018 all new cars are approved in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP), a more realistic test procedure to measure fuel consumption and CO鈧?emissions. From 01 January 2019, all fuel consumption figures are shown as determined in accordance with WLTP. Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel consumption or CO鈧?values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Extra features and accessories (attachments, tyre formats etc.) can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel consumption and CO鈧?values. Additionally, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, electricity consumption, and CO鈧?emissions of a car.

That said, you can also option a lithium-ion battery if you鈥檙e keen to save another kilo or two. We tested this on a sopping wet skidpan while performing full throttle figure-eight manoeuvres and although there鈥檚 some throttle retardation - it鈥檚 less than you might expect and there鈥檚 no slipping or sliding whatsoever. In fact, you get the impression that this would be mandatory on freeways in the rain but still fun to drive. The system itself changes the way the power is delivered, changes the way the throttle pedal works and changes the suspension dampening. It even affects the way the brakes are applied to suit that kind of driving environment. And, if you鈥檝e got active stabiliser bars, it softens them right off to the point of slight understeer - much safer than oversteer tendencies, at least in the wet. The thing is, the system won鈥檛 force you to adopt Wet Mode leaving you free to ignore it if you choose.

You鈥檒l still have the benefit of all the other safety systems working away in the background. For example, there鈥檚 stability management; if you鈥檝e got two wheels with low grip and two wheels with high grip and you brake, the system will even give you pulses on the steering suggesting which way to turning the steering wheel. Fully adaptive (radar based) cruise control is available, but if you don鈥檛 have it, the 992 is equipped with a camera-based system with several levels of warning of an impending collision. Firstly, there鈥檚 an acoustic warning, but if you ignore that you鈥檒l receive a jolt via the brake pedal. If you ignore all of those prompts, the car will then start to intervene. If you don鈥檛 brake enough, it will ramp up the brake pressure or it will automatically brake the car. And for those prospective Porsche customers not yet familiar with radar cruise control, it has some great features well worth the cost in my opinion. If you鈥檙e in traffic which comes to a complete stop, the car will come to a complete stop. And if the traffic moves forward within a 15-second timeframe, the car will simply drive forward automatically. Take it from me, a more-than-happy 991 Carrera S owner, the 992 is on another planet. It鈥檚 infinitely more capable - on-and-off the track, vastly more comfortable and gets all the latest infotainment and active safety kit.

You would not think that Lamborghini, one of the most fabulous cars in the world is made by a maker of farm tractors. Yes, that is true. The original name of the company is Lamborghini Trattori. The owner of the company was just inspired by the owner of Ferrari to shift his creative powers to muscle cars. At present, Lamborghini cars are one of the most expensive cars in the world because of their sleek car designs, excellent quality materials, and very powerful engines. Only a very few, usually the moneyed elite, can buy these very special cars. The car factory of Lamborghini was established in 1963 by its owner, Ferruccio Lamborghini. Ferruccio is an Italian manufacturing magnate. He rose from making farm tractors to making one of the fastest cars in the world in order to compete with Ferrari, the already established muscle car manufacturer at that time. Lamborghini grew rapidly during its first decade of operations but suffered financial setbacks afterwards. This company is now producing sports cars and V12 engines for offshore powerboat racing. Being a producer of high-end car, Lamborghini only makes limited car models.

The latest Lamborghini cars utilize a number of technological innovations. These include carbon fiber parts and chassis which reduce the overall weight of the car, and the newly developed powertrain which only weighs 235 kilos.
