Audi has once again proved that it is one of the most loved luxury car brands in India. Here鈥檚 a look at what luxury car enthusiasts can expect in Audi new cars in India. The All New A8: Audi A8 is a luxury sedan that was unveiled at the first Audi Global Summit organized in Barcelona. The variant is now its 4th generation and is getting a brand new exterior design and a fresh, ultra luxurious interior, with an added focus on future connectivity and technology. It will also provide the first of its kind Level 3 autonomous driving. The Q2: This is the smallest crossover from the Q series and will be placed below the Q3 in the hierarchy. This quaint SUV is meant for young buyers who wish to bring home a zippy luxury vehicle. It is designed as a sports vehicle and exudes an independent character. It is an ideal choice for a first vehicle in this segment. The SQ7: The SQ7 is a diesel SUV that spells pure power.
It is the first vehicle that features an electrically powered compressor, adding some edginess to the performance. The diesel engine capacity is a staggering 4.0 litre, coupled with a V8 powertrain. The Q3: The Audi Q3 is likely to be a low-priced SUV that will boast great body quality and premium interiors. It is likely to be a retuned version of the existing Q3, with the same 2.0 litre petrol engine. There will be a seven-speed auto gearbox and a six-speed manual transmission variant. Irrespective of the enhancement in the footprint, this SUV is expected to be lighter. There are unlikely to be any major changes in mileage. Depending on the vehicle type you prefer, make sure you stay updated with all the new cars being introduced by Audi in India. And when you are in the market to buy, make sure you visit an authorised dealer for a satisfying buying experience.
BMW just revealed the all-new 3 Series sedan here at the 2018 Paris Auto Show. And performance enthusiasts know what that means: a new M3 is on the way. It may be a while before we get to see it, but this gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect - at least visually. Developed by BMW M GmbH - the automaker鈥檚 in-house performance division - the new range of parts includes a full aero kit made up of ten individual components. There鈥檚 a front splitter, rear diffuser, rear spoiler, side sills, mirror caps, and more - all available in either gloss black or bare carbon. There鈥檚 a set of tailpipes made of a mix of carbon fiber and titanium, and wheels in 18- and 20-inch diameters, packing oversized brake discs with four-piston aluminum calipers. Inside, there鈥檚 more upgrades on offer, including a sportier steering wheel, carbon-fiber shift paddles (for the automatic transmission), carbon-fiber interior trim, special floor mats, and projectors displaying the M (or other) logo on the tarmac next to the vehicle. There鈥檚 even an Alcantara and carbon-fiber key wallet as well to take a bit of the performance flair with you even after exiting the vehicle, and a telematics data analyzer and action-camera mount for track days. All of which add up to a sportier take on the new 3 Series, and whet our appetites all the more for the forthcoming new M3 and other M Performance models that are sure to follow.
In just four years, the Macan has become Porsche鈥檚 best-selling model. And where Stuttgart once hoped its second SUV would emulate the success of the Cayenne and find around 50,000 homes each year, it鈥檚 came close to doubling that number in 2017 as over 97,000 left its Leipzig factory. Which means, while all the recent fuss has been about a new 911, the model that matters just as much (and perhaps even more) is Porsche鈥檚 rival for the Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Mercedes GLC. You mean you haven鈥檛 clocked the new daytime running lights in the intakes or the fact LED headlights are now standard? It鈥檚 because while the first Cayenne was an ugly bugger, the first Macan was a much better resolved attempt to transfer 911 DNA onto an SUV, and that means not much needed changing. Alterations are pretty much limited to a new rear light bar stretching the width of rear and aping rest of Porsche range. The letters 鈥?P O R S C H E鈥?are also emblazoned through it, but if the reason for doing so is to raise brand awareness, they鈥檙e darn near indecipherable when the LEDs are lit.
