LP 570-4 Superleggera LP 570-4 Superleggera

The other day I was at MBStar Euroauto pitting in both my parent Mercedes-Benz S320 and E240 for services. MBStar Euroauto is located near Tungku Link Highway just behind the old Liang Toon Supermarket. They handle most European cars such as Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, Maserati and also what you looking at here, Lamborghini! I had sat in my friend Lamborghini Gallardo before but that was the normal standard Gen.1 version. This here is a totally different beast. This is a rare car as I do know there are only 2 in existant in Brunei. LP 570-4 Superleggera LP 570-4 Superleggera. In March 2010, Lamborghini announced the release of the Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera, a lightweight and more powerful version of the Gallardo LP 560-4 in the sam e vein as the previous Superleggera. With carbon fiber used extensively inside and out to reduce weight to just 1,340 kg (2,954 lb) making it the lightest road-going Lamborghini in the range. The 5.2L V10 on the LP 570-4 gets a power bump over the standard Gallardo to 570 PS (419 kW; 562 hp) at 8,000 rpm. I was told the owner of this car reside in K.B, no wonder I had never seen this car in Bandar before. Carbon fibre can be seen both inside and outside of the car! I do have a video of the roaring engine. Will post it up soon!

The quiet cabin is plush without being overly designed. There鈥檚 great leather and quality touchpoints accenting a cabin that feels tech-y, but also less button-heavy, than the last-gen version of the vehicle. This is a modern, roomy space, with a big boot and just about every optional amenity imaginable. 80,000 to six-figure price category. Oh, and while its hybrid nature is mostly hidden within the same great, taught SUV lines of every other new Cayenne, it does have those rad acid-green brakes. Even your Tesla Model X-owning neighbors will eventually cotton on to the fact that you鈥檙e driving a battery-electric and a Porsche. With a plug-in powertrain, a sub-five-second sprint, and a price tag around eighty grand, this Cayenne doesn鈥檛 actually have much in the way of natural competitors. 79,500) and performance, but obviously is all-electric and with far greater zero-emissions range than the Porsche. 63,750 starting price put it into a different class. Perhaps most importantly, none of those new-fangled utility vehicles come with a Porsche crest on the hood - an item which carries a cachet that is still hard to replicate. It used to be the middle of a model range was reserved for popular, but pretty average, versions of vehicles. With the wildly advanced, capable, and flexible Cayenne E-Hybrid, Porsche is proving that notion is about as old fashioned as the simple internal combustion engine.

Its spellbinding performance and unflappable poise are the major reasons we referred to as the 2018 model to the 10Best Trucks and Sports utility vehicles collection. Under its curvaceous casing are two readily available engines-a base 248-hp turbocharged several-cylinder and a turbocharged V-6 making 348 hp in the S model. Each Macan is designed with a seven-speed auto transmission and-tire push. Sure, some competitors are more cost-effective and useful, but they don鈥檛 cast a spell on their own car owners in the same way that the Porsche does. It absolutely packages the nightclub for what crossovers could be. The Macan is updated for 2019 and features rejuvenated exterior styling which includes current front side and rear bumpers, new taillamps that span the breadth of the liftgate, and new wheel patterns. Quickness is important in a crossover with showing off objectives, but we wouldn鈥檛 be nearly as impressed with the Macan if it weren鈥檛 due to its all-all around proficiency on the road. The drive is perfectly easy and carefully operated, and it鈥檚 uncommon for a jolt from the road to make its way up through the cabin. The Macan鈥檚 tenacious mindset in corners can make it truly feel steady and planted. The steering is a small lighter than in Porsche鈥檚 sports cars but nonetheless hyper accurate and pleasantly tactile. You can travel this Macan hard, and yes it responds like a top rated-rated sports sedan.

We test the Toyota Mirai - a pioneering zero-emission car of the future鈥?that鈥檚 here now. Toyota led the march of the hybrids when it launched the first generation Prius in 1997. It took until 2000 before it went on sale in the UK and the rest is history. Hybrids, and now plug-in hybrids, are commonplace on our roads. Electric cars are a familiar sight too, but now we鈥檙e witnessing the next big thing - hydrogen fuel cells. And once again, Toyota is leading the way. Technically the Mirai wasn鈥檛 the first hydrogen car to go on sale in the UK. Hyundai鈥檚 ix35 beat it to market in 2015, but sadly it鈥檚 heavily compromised because it鈥檚 based on the ageing ix35 SUV and only available in left-hand drive. The Mirai is a completely different concept - the result of 20 years of development. So what is a fuel cell vehicle? Well, I can鈥檛 pretend to understand the technicalities of it, but basically it鈥檚 an electric car.
