Land Rover Design Boss Wary Over Copycats




Land Rover is 鈥渨ary鈥?of previewing brand-new models with concept cars for fear of being beaten to market, the company鈥檚 design boss has revealed. JLR has been the victim of a number of copycat designs, with the most high profile being the LandWind X7, which JLR claims strikes a close resemblance to the Range Rover Evoque. Speaking at the launch of the updated 2018 Range Rover, design boss Gerry McGovern said the company was 鈥渨ary of showing new concepts鈥?because of such incidents. McGovern was concerned that the design of a forthcoming car could be copied from the concept before the Brit brand launches the production version. JLR has since filed new copyright and unfair competition complaints in China against LandWind X7 builder Jiangling Motors, with the Chaoyang Court serving Jianling with actions. 鈥淭he success of Jaguar Land Rover is based partly on its unique design and engineering attributes, which we believe are worth protecting across all markets,鈥?said a JLR spokesperson. Land Rover isn鈥檛 the only brand to be the victim of alleged copycat designs. Chinese manufacturer Zotye has previously been in the headlines for ripping off the design of the Porsche Macan, VW Tiguan and Smart ForTwo.

You can also check the prices of these companies because they charge for cleaning the waste from your hospital or any industrial areas. You can also take their membership to keep clean your hospitals and manufacture industries. If you will take the membership of these companies then they keep the maintenance of your area that you have selected to be cleaned. If you will dial the helpline number of these companies then they will find your location and send their garbage carrying trucks at that location and in sometimes restart cleaning the garbage. When an employee does something above and beyond the call of duty, let them know that you鈥檙e aware of it and that you appreciate it. If they get a positive review from a customer, tell them about it. The next-generation Bentley Continental GT has been spied once more, but this time it鈥檚 wearing less camouflage and some key design details have been exposed. Bentley鈥檚 signature grille also appears wider and thinner than before and the aggressive lower front fascia look like it houses two foglights, which flank the lower air intake. From the side, this prototype looks sleeker and features the same fastback roofline as its predecessor; however, it鈥檚 more streamlined and it doesn鈥檛 look heavy. The streamlined look continues out back thanks to a narrower rear fascia, smaller taillight clusters, and what appears to be a smaller trunk opening. Bentley鈥檚 next-generation Continental GT will ride on the same platform that underpins the second-generation Porsche Panamera and will likely come standard with all-wheel drive. Powering the car should be a new twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 that鈥檚 closely related to the unit found in the Panamera Turbo and should come paired to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Expect an updated twin-turbocharged 12-cylinder engine to also join the lineup as the second gas-powered option. A hybrid variant has also been tipped to join the Continental GT lineup for the upcoming generation. In addition to the coupe, a convertible variant called the Continental GTC should follow.
