Although it seems like the summer just began, as it happens every year, summer is unfortunately coming to a close. As the days are beginning to get shorter (although they are still quite long!) it is inevitable that the warm weather will begin to cease and that for young people school is right around the corner. However, there are still some crucial weeks left of August and it is important to soak up the final days before the end of the sunny season. There is a myriad of excellent ways to enjoy the last few weeks of summer. While the end of the summer is on its way, it is certainly not gone yet! As the weather is still hot in August, you can definitely still enjoy yourself. There is no better way to spend your time in the hot weather than by having a barbecue with your closest friends and family.
The summer season is an excellent time for grilling meats, playing outdoor games like bocce and disc golf, and relaxing with your social circle. Set up your backyard or patio area with chairs and tables (the great debate between plastic and wood folding tables is very real for which is better for barbecues!), and assemble your companions for an August barbecue. There is no time like the summer to enjoy the outdoors. The weather is at its prime during this season and it is important to take advantage of it before the colder weather begins in the fall! There is a multitude of ways to enjoy the outdoors during the summer. Some of these include camping, hiking, spending time at a lake, going to the beach, playing sports, and so much more! There are millions of ideas that you come up with to try and enjoy the outdoors before the gorgeous summer weather disappears!
A great way to truly enjoy the end of the summer is to sit back and reflect on your summer. The summer is truly one of the best times of the year. The majority of people enjoy spending time in the warm weather and the summer is obviously the best time to do this! As the summer is coming to its end it is important to take advantage of these last few weeks in order to truly accept that it will be cold in a short span of time. As long as you remember to enjoy barbecues with family and friends, enjoy the outdoors, and spend some time reflecting on your summer, you are sure to have an amazing finale to your summertime season! It can help us explore the world, monitor our health and stay in closer contact with family and friends around the world. But as much as connected tech can be helpful and useful, it can also become a crutch or even an addiction. What Are the Simple Practices That Consistently Make You Happier? HappinessSometimes we feel like we鈥檝e spent the better part of our lives chasing after happiness. It always seemed like happiness stayed just a tad bit out of our grasp鈥攕omewhere in the future that we could always see, but not quite touch. HappinessIf you are making a New Year's Resolution, you are not alone. While popular goals are weight loss or to stop smoking, there may be one goal you haven't thought of before: giving to charity.
The i8 coupe's top speed is limited to 155-mph, which is in keeping with the habits of automakers hailing from the land of unrestricted autobahns. In addition to its generous power production, the 2015 BMW i8 also offers the ability to cruise along at more modest speeds exclusively under electric power. Selecting the eDrive mode from the BMW i8's computer control system gives you the ability to tap into the car's 15 to 22 miles (depending on driving style) of battery-only range. Let's say that you want to spend the majority of your time puttering around on battery power rather than burning the gas in the 2015 BMW i8's tank. In addition to its ability to charge from a regenerative braking system or by way of the three-cylinder engine, the BMW i8's wall plug offers surprisingly quick replenishment of its battery. Using a 220-volt plug - fairly standard in the world of electric vehicles - you'll top up in just 1.5 hours. Perhaps more impressive is the i8's 110-volt performance, which asks for only three and a half hours of plug time before offering a full battery. High performance luxury coupes aren't known for their frugality when it comes time to fill up the tank, but the 2015 BMW i8 manages to fare better than most. Officially, the EPA rates the BMW i8 at 28-mpg combined driving, which is respectable given its superior accelerative capabilities and prodigious power. The 2015 BMW i8's cockpit has been designed around the front two positions, which allow the driver and forward passenger to slide in, legs extended, and lean back under the coupe's swooping roof. If you're by now sold on the idea of the 2015 BMW i8, be prepared for a bit of sticker shock.
The new Toyota Corolla Saloon is a left-field offering from the Japanese brand, given how few cars of its kind are sold in the UK. But there鈥檚 method in the apparent madness. It turns out that at the point when Toyota killed off its Avensis in 2018, it was still shifting around 4,000 examples to British buyers every year. Now the company hopes that the Corolla saloon can at least partially fill the void. It looks promising enough. The saloon sits on the longer of the two Corolla wheelbases, so it should offer the same slightly larger rear cabin as the Touring Sports estate. It鈥檚 the same price as the hatchback, to the penny, and in the UK at least, it鈥檚 available only as a hybrid - a powertrain never offered on the Avensis. It does miss out, however, on the 鈥榖uilt in Britain鈥?tag that will be no doubt plastered over the hatch and wagon in Toyota鈥檚 UK dealerships.
