BMW is reportedly considering a proper M3 version of the new G21-generation 3 Series Touring, if true it will mark the first time an M3 is offered with a wagon body. The new 3 Series Touring will most likely debut at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show and is expected to offer a slightly bigger boot than the outgoing model and a pop-up tailgate for obvious practicality reasons. And while BMW has never officially offered an M3 Touring before, sources from within the company suggest that it鈥檚 been finally considered, Autocar reports. The M3 Touring鈥檚 case is further helped by the minimal development costs, allowing BMW to offer a proper rival to the likes of the Audi RS4 Avant and the Mercedes-AMG C63 Estate. However, if BMW does indeed decide to produce a long-roof Touring version of the next M3, it will be for European markets only and not for the US due to weak demand.
