Circuit/System Description



The transmission fluid temperature (TFT) sensor is located inside of the transmission control module (TCM) assembly which has no serviceable



components. The TFT sensor provides transmission fluid temperature to the TCM. This fault is handled inside the TCM and no external circuits are



involved.

* No DTCs P0101, P0102, P0103, P0106, P0107, P0108, P0171, P0172, P0174, P0175, P0201, P0202, P0203, P0204, P0205, P0206, P0207,



P0208, P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304, P0305, P0306, P0307, P0308, P0401, P042E, P0658, P0668, P0669, P06AD, P06AE, P0711,



P0712, P0713, P0716, P0717, P0722, P0723, P0962, P0963, P0966, P0967, P0970, P0971, P215C, P2720, P2721, P2729, or P2730.



* The engine speed is greater than 400 RPM for 5 seconds.



* The ignition voltage is 8.6 volts or greater.



* Brake torque is not active.
