3. Power supply
Voltage supply via component Z7/36 (Circuit 87 M2e connector sleeve)
Possible cause and remedy
- Check voltage supply according to wiring diagram.
4. Check component Y22/9 (Intake manifold tumble flap switchover valve).
Test 4.1: Test actuation of component Y22/9 (Intake manifold tumble flap switchover valve).
Test 4.2: Test current consumption of component Y22/9 (Intake manifold tumble flap switchover valve).
4.1. Test actuation of component Y22/9 (Intake manifold tumble flap switchover valve).
Test prerequisite
- The vacuum system is leaktight.
Test sequence
- Operate engine at idling speed.
- Actuate component Y22/9 (Intake manifold tumble flap switchover valve).(Actuate with key F2.)
Specified value
- Testing The rod of the vacuum unit can be seen to operate. The linkage of the swirl flap can be seen to move.(See arrow)
