2019 Veloster N The Veloster N is the first American ambassador for Hyundai’s performance sub-brand and already the company’s best-driving model ever. Its unique three-door design is derived from the base Veloster, but its animated turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder and terrific chassis tuning are N exclusives. While this front-wheel-drive hatchback is only available with a six-speed manual transmission, an optional Performance package turns up the heat. The upgrade increases horsepower from 250 to 275 and adds an active exhaust system, larger brakes, an electronically controlled limited-slip differential, and 19-inch wheels on specially designed Pirelli P Zero tires. Additionally, every Veloster N has adaptive dampers and customizable drive modes. The latter allows the driver to set their preferred combination of everything from the heft of the steering to the stiffness of the suspension.
