Genuine Porsche Parts and Collision Repairs

Vehicle Type:

All

Concern:

Use of Genuine/Approved Porsche parts for collision repairs.

Information:

A fundamental prerequisite for carrying out collision repairs is strict adherence to the work instructions published by Porsche AG (Germany) within

the Porsche Integrated Workshop Information System (PIWIS). The published work instructions have been developed to be used in conjunction

with the following requirements:

^ Use of only Genuine Porsche parts/fasteners/materials

^ Use only Genuine/Approved fluids/lubricants/adhesives/care & maintenance products

^ Use of only approved workshop equipment

If any of the elements mentioned are missing from the repair process, the quality and safety of the resulting repair cannot be assured. For this reason

Porsche Cars North America, Inc., (PCNA) does not support or condone the usage of any parts other than Genuine Porsche parts to perform

collision repairs. For purposes of clarity, this means new Genuine Porsche parts sourced from an authorized Porsche dealer, used parts are not

approved!

Porsche Approved Collision Centers (PACC) are required to follow the work instructions exactly as documented in the PIWIS information system

using only Genuine Porsche parts and approved workshop equipment as described above when performing collision repairs. Should a PACC fail to

do so they will immediately lose their "Porsche Approved" status.

Thank you for your business and support of the Porsche brand.
