A lift kit will give you the same problematic ride, just from a higher vantage point. The circuit has two long straights which should suit us this year, and the conditions will be very demanding as always due to the high heat and humidity. As on the previous model, Mercedes-AMG uses a dedicated transfer case for the 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive which distributes the engine power at a ratio of 40 : 60 to the front and rear axle in the interests of high driving dynamics.
Power is derived from a plug-in hybrid powertrain with a gasoline engine for a total output of 279 horsepower and 41 miles of electric range (the latter in aerodynamic mode). The one area where the four-banger leaves a bit to be desired compared to the V6 is sound; the new engine is far more audible in the Sprinter. Our car feels very different compared with the last test - the circuit is different and the average corner speed is a lot lower, but the car is still working well for me. Compared to other work vehicles, the Sprinter Vans and Cab Chassis offer astounding towing and hauling capacities. Though the company is often too busy to take work from the Exchange, John is able to use the platform to subcontract work out to other members. This is not possible with traditional vehicle shell structures, but the two front longitudinal members in the front aluminium skeleton of the new SL provide the resonance space needed for this arrangement. Nico didn鈥檛 get such a clean lap at the end, however he will have a very strong race from seventh place. 鈥淟ast weekend in Melbourne, we began the race well, with our cars running third and fourth, and ended it badly, with Michael retiring from P3, while Nico suffered a puncture on the last lap after contact with another car while fighting for sixth place. In those circumstances, it鈥檚 important to remain calm, look after the car and make sure we focus on the rest of the weekend.
