These vans are designed as the lightest models with great fuel efficiency conversions ever made for camping activities.
The start-stop feature reduces the four-cylinder engine鈥檚 fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by up to ten percent. Staying 60 MPH & under gets me the best fuel economy. The same applies to the maximum torque, where the new engine in the Sprinter delivers the best figure in its class with up to 168 Nm per litre of displacement. At the same time, the system proved its suitability for everyday use in the driving simulator in Berlin, where the Mercedes-Benz engineers sent 80 male and female drivers onto a trip along an imaginary country road at a speed of 100 km/h, incorporating treacherous black-ice traps with tire-to-road adhesion reduced by over 70 percent on four corners. In addition, ESP is capable of throttling engine output with the aim of reducing the car鈥檚 road speed. It served as the basis for acceleration skid control (ASR, production start in 1981), which controls the longitudinal forces between tires and road surface not only during braking but also, and for the first time, during acceleration, acting on both the brakes and the engine. The Mercedes-Benz didn鈥檛 confirm the price, however, most likely start at about $50.000, the higher price will be offset by the cost of operation.

The advert will make its debut appearance on 30 January 2010 on all major television channels with a 60-second roadblock, after which it will continue to run as a 45-second spot until the end of March.
