- Replace component M3 (Fuel pump).

pump connector) between the two.



Test prerequisite



- A fault has occurred during current measurement at component M3 (Fuel pump).



- The internal resistance of component M3 (Fuel pump) is not OK.



Test sequence



- Switch off ignition.



- Unplug 4-pin connector from component N118 (Fuel pump control module).



- Unplug coupling A at component rack M3x1 (Fuel pump connector).



- Check lines to component M3 (Fuel pump) for short and open circuits.



- Measure resistance with multimeter between sockets (N118) 1.3 and X1 3



- Specified value:< 1ohms



- Measure resistance with multimeter between sockets (N118) 1.4 and X1 1



- Specified value:< 1ohms



- Measure resistance with multimeter between sockets (N118) 1.3 and (N118) 1.4



- Specified value:infiniteohms
