The Mercedes-Benz of electric vehicles - Coming Soon! To give the EQC a level of performance worthy of its name, Mercedes-Benz developed an all-new drive system. With the ability to fast-charge from 10 to 80 percent in 40 minutes, the EQC is poised to conquer any highway. Equipped with the all-new MBUX media system, the EQC responds to the driver麓s natural, conversational language. The system helps to govern the car麓s functions and learns over time. Here, it麓s been engineered with additional EQ settings to help manage the vehicle麓s charge status, energy flow, range display and other features of electric driving. Along with the ECO Assist system that helps maintain maximum efficiency, the EQC is more than just an electric vehicle: It麓s a bold statement about the future of driving. While the new vehicle instantly registers as a Mercedes-Benz, it also forges a striking new path in design. Grille and headlamps are combined in a sleek black-panel surface at front, an arrangement accentuated by an LED Light Band at the top. Within, an asymmetrical cockpit puts the driver in firm and intuitive control, while rose-gold accents give the electric vehicle its own clear aesthetic.

鈥淚 want to say a big, big thank you to the team today. The car worked a treat in all conditions, and we made all the right strategy calls. 鈥淲e deserved this win and it felt great to stand alongside my race engineer Dave (Robson) on the occasion of his first appearance on the podium. 鈥淭he race was a brilliantly eventful one. I had a good battle with Lewis when we were running one-two. We were both driving on the limit and the gap ebbed and flowed, depending on the traffic. 鈥淚t was good fun and I was sorry that we weren鈥檛 standing up there on the podium together at the end of it all. This was the perfect way to celebrate my 200th Grand Prix, and the team can enter the summer break with a spring in its step. 鈥淲e know we have a good car, so let鈥檚 enjoy our holidays and come back even stronger at Spa-Francorchamps.

鈥淏ig congratulations to Jenson. He pushed me hard and he deserved to win the race. I felt sorry for the team that we didn鈥檛 get a one-two, but at least one of us got the victory. 鈥淭he car felt very good to drive today. I think the cooler conditions helped us, but the team has done a fantastic job to get us where we are. We鈥檝e now won two races in the space of a week, which is a great way to enter the summer break. 鈥淚鈥檓 disappointed in myself for spinning. I had to do a doughnut to get myself facing the right way and that forced Paul (di Resta) onto the grass, which is why I got the drive-through penalty. 鈥淲hat a way for Jenson to celebrate his 200th Grand Prix! Those were very, very difficult conditions this afternoon, and it was easy to get it wrong, but Jenson drove a great race. 鈥淗is measured yet combative drive was a testament to how naturally smooth and smart he is on the racetrack, and he really deserved this win. 鈥淟ewis was in the pits six times this afternoon and he got his drive-through penalty for putting Paul on the grass. He鈥檒l be disappointed because he鈥檇 like to have been standing on the top step of the podium alongside Jenson, but he accepted his penalty well. He kept his cool and overtook another couple of cars as a result. 鈥淗is resulting fourth place gave him - and us - 12 valuable world championship points. This was McLaren鈥檚 10th win in Hungary - a record - and it comes on the back of Lewis鈥檚 win in Germany last weekend. 鈥淲e鈥檝e won three of the past five Grands Prix, and have scored 119 world championship points over the same period. The team can now take a well-deserved break before attacking the second half of the season.

Like someone else said, you're comparing apples to oranges. Well, then you have a different answer as well. Everything is expensive these days, so if you want to compare domestic vs foreign, you have to do it against competition. 60k Cadillac; what will the foreign net over the Caddy? Well, first off the Benz is going to give you more prestige just because they've built such a great name for their brand (brand recognition is everything in the luxury department). In terms of performance, there is no gain; Cadillac's handle and perform VERY well and some models perform better over a Mercedes-Benz. Refinement, however, is a difference. Compare a Cadillac CTS to a Mercedes-Benz E300 and you will instantly notice the better design language, materials used, and overall satisfaction. Ehhh, it depends. I've been in a recent E300 and noticed it wasn't TOTALLY refined (there was creaking from the sunroof and side door panel), but no car is perfect. The current CTS is not bad, but not great either (certainly not as nice as the E300). Compare a Mercedes-Benz to a Lincoln product, and some differences show in some categories.
