Circuit/System Verification

1. Ignition On, verify that DTC U2142 or C0292 is not set.

Descriptions/Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle).

2. With a scan tool, clear the DTC.

3. Test drive the vehicle while observing the scan tool Yaw Rate and Lateral Accelerometer Sensor parameter. The parameters should vary as

the vehicle changes directions.

瀚慖f the parameters are locked or erratic, replace the yaw/lateral accelerometer sensor.

4. Replace the EBCM.
