Triangle Rowing Club Dominates NC competition

HIGH POINT, N.C., September 28, 2019 - TRC started its regatta season in a grand way with the team collectively earning 21 medals at the High Point Autumn Rowing Festival. 14 Gold Medals, 3 Silver and 4 Bronze gave the Triangle boats a solid reward for weeks of hard work. A complete list of medals and times can be found HERE. Women brought home Gold in 7 races: WV4+, WU174x, WU174+, WU158+, WV8+, WU178+ and WMS8+. Men brought home Gold in 6 races: MV8+, MU158+, MDebut4+, MV4+, MU174+, MMS8+ and the MixedMS 8+ claimed a Gold as well. 3 Silver Medals were earned by Men's boats: MVU178+, MV4+ and the MMS8+. 4 Bronze were rounded up by: MVU158+, WV158+. WU178+. The Triangle had 32 entries in 15 races making it a busy, but highly successful day for the team!
Triangle Rowing Club is a team to watch not just in N.C., but in the entire Southeast region! Our athletes continue their unwavering commitment to training and are eagerly anticipating a full regatta this weekend in the First Coast Head Race in Jacksonville, FL; our TRC Womens 4+ competing at The Head of the Charles October 19-20, one of the most prestigious and oldest competition in the world. This TRC Womens 4+ made N.C. Rowing history last year as the first N.C. Youth boat to ever to get an automatic rebid for the Head of The Charles Regatta (HOCR)!
