But The Reimagined 2019 ILX Is Clearly Superior

The Mercedes Benz CLA 250 and Acura ILX both offer bold style and performance. But the reimagined 2019 ILX is clearly superior. While its 2.4-liter DOHC engine provides slightly less horsepower than CLA 250, ILX is almost 200 pounds lighter than the Mercedes. This impressive power-to-weight ratio makes ILX one of the most powerful and nimble cars in its class. The ILX also comes standard with an 8-speed dual clutch automatic transmission with torque converter. The CLA 250 sits content with a 7-speed DCT, requiring a turbocharger to generate power. ILX with Premium Package also includes a long list of standard features you鈥檒l pay extra for on CLA 250 including a power moonroof, multi-view rear camera, and Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto integration. Driver and passengers also enjoy more legroom in the Acura ILX. An available new A-Spec® package (on vehicle shown) also gives your new ILX an even bolder appearance with stylish touches like 18-inch Shark Grey alloy wheels, LED fog lights and sport seats trimmed in rich red or black leather.

Hey all, first-time poster here and am looking into purchasing a new A220. I'm looking for some guidance from those that have already ventured down the path that I may take and all of your help will be greatly appreciated. 1st. What is the typical pricing you guys are getting? I know it varies from region to region. 3g4eb9kw002927 - Should I suspect some sort of dealer discount or is it pretty common to buy these at MSRP value? Sorry for the newb question, but I am new to the MB products. I have never bought a vehicle at MSRP before. 500 off and perhaps a USAA rebate, but is there anything else I can help negotiate the price down? 3rd. Are there any features you wish you would have gotten or wished you skipped on? I'm a huge techie so the MBUX is what has attracted me to the MB realm. I would go without the SiriusXM radio and put that into the heated/cooled seats. 4th. How willing are Mercedes dealers to work with options that may or may not come with the vehicle on the lot? For example, the car I linked above does not have heated/cooled seats.

5th. On MBUX - How is the web-browser. This may be a silly question, but is it possible for Netflix/Youtube videos to play? This isn't a deal breaker, but curiosity. 6th. With wireless charging/NFC - I've read that the A220 can support wireless carplay, is this accurate? Is this here yet? This will highly motivate me to move to this segment if it works. Anything else I should know before pursuing further? Do you feel this vehicle is worth the price tag they want? 28K probably has more upscale interior, just as much room, and more tech, but without the MBUX infotainment. So I'm looking at other options. I'm at the age where I can afford an MB, but I do have to swallow the practicality pill too . Thanks for your input. If I get solid feedback today, I may purchase tomorrow! Last edited by Deriggs007; 05-26-2019 at 01:40 PM. 4,000, you never buy a car at MSRP regardless of the model.

2,000 off, and shop around, I went to six dealers, in no time at all I had a hefty discount. 2. I think if you're a member of the Mercedes club you get a discount but it has to be for 6-12 months or so before you can use it, you get sometimes get a discount from your employer. 4. I asked six dealers, couldn't change a single feature, not even the seat material. If you shop online you can get complete breakdowns of each vehicle and usually get pretty close to your must have package. I did a factory order but after about 4 months gave up as it seemed nowhere close to being ready and cars sitting out on factory lots start to have issues. 5. Haven't tried browsing the web but with Apple Play it grabs content from your phone so I'd imagine no issue accessing video, but is LTE fast enough to stream? 6. Yes, mine has the wireless charging, however it only works with phones that support it (more recent models), otherwise you have to use a workaround. I was a practical car buyer all my life, the usual Toyota Camry person.

I also had a Mazda. Well, driving the A220 was a completely different experience, twice as fun, felt far more luxurious even that a decked out Japanese car (at that price level) and the MBUX is great. 1. Handling and driving experience. Much tighter than a Japanese car, also great turning radius. I also like the throaty engine sound in sport mode. 20,000 more and they don't compare in my opinion. 4. Quality of build. They really put some work into it, compared to a 5 year old C class this is way better, doors are solid, engine is responsive and cabin pretty quiet. I looked at the Mazda 3 cabin, it's nice but I think the A220 beats it by a good margin and my passengers have all commented (many didn't realize the price point of the car). Not sure what options you're looking for, I got the AMG night line, Premium and Multi-Media packages. Heads up display not worth it, people who use it get annoyed after a while.
