What Makes Mercedes Benz M Class Special?

What Makes Mercedes Benz M Class Special?

This is just general information for the readers who completely have no idea about Mercedes Benz M Class. Since the writer himself only knows that everything about Mercedes is always something high, fashionable and classy. However, those three words are not enough to give you the more and more special about this everlasting brand. Mercedes Benz M-Class, you wonder what the 'M' stands for. Yes, that is. Maybe it is for the maker himself, Magna Steyr. He has brought out the cars to the European and later U.S market since 1997 up to the present. This sport utility vehicle (SUV) has Mercedes M Class W163 and Mercedes M Class W164-both have outstanding performance and drive. Mercedes Benz M-Class is proper for long rides, not only around the city, but also between two countries. What makes it possible for this very long drive is because its great gas mileage. Besides its fuel, it also provides the Blue Tec diesel technology that can save the environment from pollution that contributes to the global warming issue. Being equipped by stability control, Mercedes Benz M-Class is sensitive to the uncontrolled direction when you are driving. Frontal and side airbags are also supplied, therefore, this helps you at least to get rid of some accident and secure your life. Mercedes Benz M-Class W164 was introduced in 2005, and many new stuffs are presented here. The outer look is sportier than previous type and it is also more advanced in quality. Its 150 mm long size makes it's longer than 7 seater version. Talking about the transmission, the manual doesn't exist here, but it is renewed by the 7-speed automatic transmission. So guys, what you should know overall is that this car is one of the most fabulous and luxurious SUV ever in the world. It makes the car become "Best New Sport Utility Vehicle" in the 2006 Canadian Car of the Year awards. What another special else you want to get from Mercedes Benz M-Class?

This is one of those shootout that was hatched out-of-the-blue following a friendly request from the guy you see above. Since both of these cars are price circa RM200k, they make a nice comparo: albeit one is almost a decade old and the other one being brand new! The Mazda is no pushover despite its diminutive 2.0L powerplant. In fact, I was truly impressed with its 50:50 weight distribution affording it superb chassis balance. Its steering is nicely quick and accurate too, having a longitudinal front engine paired with rear wheel drive. Mazda Miata is a revelation reminiscent much of a BMW in character. Well maybe this is where a Japanese car (thus far) gets closest to BMW in driving dynamics. No issues of bottoming out or rippling motion over bad surfaces. I would not comment much on the Boxster 2.7 except for its superb squatting stability you get around corners and the inimitable Boxer-6 burble and howl. Anything more than that, I'd be accused of boasting about my own ride. After doing this 'shootout', it made me wondered why I didn't go for a new MX5 instead. The 22-second 'transformer' roof's definitely more secure and provides better insulation all around since it is after all a metal hardtop.

True to the design idiom, the entry level model to the Mercedes-Benz C-Class range offers both style and luxury. The cabin of the SE pairs its dynamic exterior to black ARTICO leather and high-gloss black trim, which combined together, create a true Mercedes-Benz luxury feel. Other high-end safety features such as collision avoidance breaking, a reversing camera and LED daytime running lights come as standard with this entry point model line. The C-Class SE offers plenty to occupants and establishes true driving pleasure. 5 different engine variants used to power the C-Class SE are available - a combination of both diesel and petrol and automatic and manual transmissions are offered with this model. The C220d SE is the most powerful entry level C-Class model in our range and offers a vigorous performance whilst remaining economical and returning up to 70.6mpg. Other popular C-Class SE specifications available are C200, C200d and C220.

I just don't get why no one is willing to wait to see what they come up with before writing off the next SL as being something it's not. Mercedes does vehicles of vastly differing character and capabilities on the same platform all the time, so why in the world would anyone here think that they can't do the same with the AMG GT and the SL? All this end of the world talk is just the silliest thing like ever. Mercedes wouldn't even bother making another SL AND AMG GT if they're going to be the same car. Of course the SL is going to still be luxury. They know the SL is the cruiser to the sports cars that the AMG GT is. Moers confirmed the SL, which will launch by 2021, will be 聯aligned聰 with the next AMG GT. Both cars will share a new aluminium-intensive platform, known internally as the Modular Sports Architecture (MSA), in an attempt to increase the economies of scale and overall profitability of two of Mercedes most exclusive model lines. Autocar first scooped the new SL last October and now Moers has confirmed details of it.

This is the first time AMG has overseen development of an SL. Moers said: 聯Handing over SL to AMG as the performance and sports car brand is great. He also confirmed that the eight-generation SL would be offered only as a roadster, like its predecessor. Autocar has previously reported that the model will receive a traditional fabric hood in place of the folding hard-top arrangement that has been used for the past two incarnations of the SL. Overall, the SL will be revived as a lighter, faster and more engaging model, which is why AMG has been tasked with heading up the project. Early plans to base a successor to todays smaller SLC off the same underpinnings have been abandoned following a recent decision not to replace the junior Mercedes roadster due to dwindling sales. Early prototypes of the new SL were spied testing on track with the new platform underneath a shortened S-Class Coupe虂 body. They give away little about the cars mechanical set-up, which is rumoured to run a transaxle arrangement with a dual-clutch automatic gearbox integrated within the rear axle assembly, like on the GT.
