Complaint:
Noises can occur when the manually adjustable lumbar support is adjusted.
Cause:
The Bowden cable of the manually adjustable lumbar support can rub against the spring core of the backrest.
Remedy:
1. Remove seat-back lining (164: AR 91.10.-P-1915 GZ/251: AR 91.10-P-1915RT)
2. Manually adjust the lumbar support with a load on the seat and determine the friction points.
Note:
There must be a person seated on the affected seat when determining the friction points so that there is adequate pressure on the backrest. The
attached picture shows the routing of the Bowden cable for the manually adjustable lumbar support and potential points of friction with the spring
core of the backrest.
3. Glue felt onto the friction point on the spring core of the backrest.
