Date: 05 FEB 2008

SECTION: 303

Revised Workshop Procedure: Cooling System Pressure Test

AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE:

CONDITION SUMMARY:

WORKSHOP MANUAL REVISION: COOLING SYSTEM PRESSURE TEST

Situation:

Land Rover has developed a revised procedure to perform a cooling system pressure test. This new procedure has removed the necessity of

removing the radiator undershields, disconnecting the battery, and repeating the test.

Action:

Should it become necessary to perform a cooling system pressure test, refer to the procedure in Global Technical Reference (GTR) to follow the

revised procedure.

PARTS:

No parts necessary

WARRANTY:

NOTE:

Repair procedures are under constant review, and therefore times are subject to change; those quoted here must be taken as guidance only.

Always refer to DDW to obtain the latest repair time.

DDW requires the use of causal part numbers. Labor only claims must show the causal part number with a quantity of zero.

NOTE:

Global Technical Reference (GTR) lookup sequence is as follows:

GTR Home> NAS > Model > Service Information> Model Year> Workshop Manuals: 3 -- Powertrain > Section 303A: Engine Cooling

4.2L / 303B: Engine Cooling 4.4L

1. Refer to GTR Section 303 to perform a cooling system pressure test.
