SITUATION
Some customers may complain of restricted mirror glass movement when adjusting the exterior mirrors.
CAUSE
The wire for the mirror heating may not be positioned correctly and may have become trapped by a retaining clip on the mirror housing.
CORRECTION
In case of a customer complaint, check the wire routing of the mirror heating.
PROCEDURE
Disassemble the mirror housing by following Repair Instructions RA 51 16 040 and check the wire routing of the mirror heating.
