Replace Front Floor Jack Pad
This Service Campaign has been initiated because Daimler AG (DAG), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that an
incorrect front floor jack pad may have been installed. Dealers will replace the front floor jack pad at the next workshop visit.
Prior to performing this Service Campaign:
^ Please check VMI to determine if the vehicle is involved in the Campaign and if it has been previously repaired.
^ Please review the entire Service Campaign bulletin and follow the repair procedure exactly as described.

Please note that Recall and Service Campaigns do not expire and may also be performed on a vehicle with a vehicle status indicator.
Approximately 833 vehicles are affected.
Procedure
1. Lift vehicle.
2. Remove mounting plug (arrow, Figure 1) from front floor jack pad (A).
3. Remove floor jack pad (A, Figure 1) from front axle carrier.
4. Apply wax to front axle carrier in area of floor jack pad, from inside (through hole in axle carrier).
5. Install new floor jack pad (A, Figure 1).
