Delayed Engagement of Reverse Gear
If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of delayed engagement into reverse gear in MY 09 vehicles with valve body part number
A220 270 23 06 and A220 270 24 06, this is the result of software and hardware which has not been optimally matched.
To resolve, flash and SCN code the transmission control module with 01/09 SDS + add-on 10 77. After successful flashing and coding, reset the
adaptation for the reverse clutch as follows. Go into the SDS transmission menu-> Transmission Adaptation -> Reset Adaptation Data (Shifting) ->
Reverse Gear -> confirm that you would like to reset the reverse data.

The following allowable labor operations should be used when submitting a warranty claim for this repair. This information has been generated on
